Dr. Vassos C. Partassides

Director

Dr. Vassos C. Partassides is serving as Director of FOSS & ESG Catering Ltd and of GOSS (Global Oilfield Support Service Ltd), since the establishment of both companies in June 1998 and August 2000 respectively. He is responsible for the overall management, administration and control, liaison with all Cyprus Authorities, banking institutions, legal advisors, auditors and other local strategic partners. Vassos shared with the companies’ founders Mr. Helmut Franke, Mr. H.J. Wurpts and Mr. R. Overhaus the vision of choosing Cyprus to register the companies and establishing their headquarters there, using the strategic geographically and convenient location of Cyprus, with its excellent communications infrastructure and the high calibre of professional services offered, enabling the companies to serve both Europe and Asia, keys areas of FOSS & ESG Catering’s operation and marketing interest at that time. He worked intensively to implement the proper establishment of the companies in Cyprus. Vassos obtained his diploma in economics from Germany, and following its award, he proceeded with postgraduate studies and research leading to his PhD degree in International Economic Relations. Returning to Cyprus he worked for several years in leading positions in shipping and insurance and later in trading. His experience accumulated over the years is extensive, and covers business management, international trading, sales and sales management, financial management and costing as well as human resource management. He was elected and served as Honorary Treasurer of the “Cyprus- Scandinavian Countries” and of the “Cyprus-China” business Associations of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as member of the Board of the Limassol Cooperative Saving Bank. His interest and care for communal issues is reflected in his repeated election in the post of Municipal Councillor of the Limassol Municipality, spanning a period of 15 years and his long tenure at the Board of Directors of the Limassol Theatrical Company (ETHAL).

José Luís Coelho Lopes

Operations Manager

José provides strategical leadership and overseas FOSS & ESG’s day-to-day operations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. He works closely with Helmut Franke and Dr. Vassos Partassides in driving the company forward and adopting to the ever-changing marketplace. José has been working in offshore catering since 1987 when he joined a drilling rig as a steward. He has quickly worked his way up to become Camp Boss at the age of 25. In 1995 he has joined FOSS & ESG in a capacity of an Operations Supervisor for South East Asia and led the establishment of operations in the region. In 2000 he was made Operations Manager for Europe and has played a major role in the company’s ongoing success.

Larisa Zharkova

Deputy Operations & HR Manager

Larisa assists with running day-to-day operations and oversees all HR-related matters in Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. She has been with the company since 1996 and has become an integral part of the company’s operations. Over the years with FOSS & ESG, Larisa has undertaken many roles, both offshore and onshore. She helped to establish company office in Singapore, and played a major role in building up the operations in Europe. Before joining FOSS & ESG she had a successful career in pharmaceutical industry and holds a MSc in Pharmaceutical Business and Technology.

Marina Kovtunenko

Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager

Marina is responsible for ensuring that FOSS & ESG maintains highest quality, HACCP and HSE standards. She also runs company’s highly successful internal training centre issuing internationally recognised certificates in Hygiene, HACCP, Nutrition, First Aid, Health and Safety at work, Risk Assessment, Manual Handling and COSHH. Marina has been with the company since its inception and played an important role in company’s success. She has been working both offshore and onshore and helped to establish operations in South East Asia and Europe. In 2001 she has founded company’s internal training centre which resulted in FOSS & ESG having some of the best-trained catering crews offshore. Before joining FOSS & ESG, Marina has worked in the area of education and is a qualified teacher.

Tatjana Citrinavičiené

Administrative Manager

Tatjana currently serves as Administrative Manager, being responsible for various tasks as onshore staffing and payroll, liaison with trade unions, accounting, budget development and costs control, office and facilities management. She also provides full 24/7 administrative support to the organization. Tatjana started her career with FOSS & ESG Catering, in a junior offshore management position as Chief Stewardess in January 1998. This was valuable hands-on experience that helped her to learn the principles, and insights of first-class offshore catering business. This position also gave her an opportunity to further develop her talents and expertise in that field. Very soon Tatjana went through extensive Health & Safety training, and then became the first FOSS & ESG Catering Health and Safety Offshore Supervisor in April 1999. She improved the general safety culture among offshore catering personnel, by developing and implementing internal safety practices and procedures. She was later promoted to Onshore Supervisor, being involved in various HR tasks as well as offshore personnel logistics, training coordination, control of supplies, clients and customer relations, and other administrative duties. Since June 2000 Tatjana has also been working for GOSS (Global Oilfield Support Service) Ltd, while still providing full time support to FOSS & ESG Catering. Tatjana holds BA Degree in Management and Administration.

Tatjana Sidorciuk

Catering Supervisor

Tatjana is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service delivered to clients on board. She helps to set up catering operations for newly secured contracts, provides on-the-job training for personnel, conducts regular rig audits and controls the work of the suppliers. Tatjana has been with the company since 2002 and has built an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of catering operations. During 2007-2009 she has helped to set up company’s extensive operations in Brazil. Before joining FOSS & ESG Tatjana has first worked in the field of Electromechanical Engineering. Subsequently she has developed an interest in commercial management and was managing operations of a large retail store. Tatjana holds a MSc in Electromechanical Engineering.

Olga Gor

Deputy Operations Manager

Olga assists with running day-to-day operations and oversees all HR-related matters in North America and the Caribbean, and works closely with Hugo on growing company’s market share in the region. Olga has joined FOSS & ESG in 2011 as a stewardess and has worked her way up to the position of Sr. Supervisor’. In 2015 she was made Deputy Operations Manager for North America and the Caribbean, Olga has been heavily involved in setting up operations in the region. Before joining FOSS & ESG, Olga had been working in sales and customer service sector in Greece, Lithuania and in the UK. She holds a BSc in Management.

Svetlana Fiodorova

Personnel Coordinator

Svetlana oversees personnel logistics matters and assists with running day-to-day operations. She also acts as an on-duty manager, providing 24/7 support to assist clients and employees with any operational matters and emergency situations. Svetlana has joined FOSS & ESG group in 2006 and has worked offshore first as a stewardess and then as a chief stewardess. In 2008 she has been promoted to Personnel Coordinator, over the years becoming an integral part of the company’s operations. Before joining the company, she has worked in the publishing industry. Svetlana holds a BSc in Management.

Ina Kamziuk

Personnel Coordinator

Ina assists with running day-to-day operations and oversees all personnel logistics matters. She also acts as an on-duty manager, providing 24/7 support to assist clients and employees with any operational matters and emergency situations. Ina has been with the company since 2013. After a year working offshore she has been promoted to a position of a Personnel Coordinator. Before joining FOSS & ESG group Ina has worked as a Retail Sales Manager and a Senior Hotel Administrator in Lithuania. Ina holds a degree in Management.

Paula Cacheiro Gándara

Senior HR Administrator

Paula is responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment and selection, talent management, compliance, and compensation and benefits. She is also involved in processing payroll and invoices. Paula has joined FOSS & ESG in 2013 and has first worked in company’s internal training centre in Germany, helping to organise and run the courses. In 2014 she has transferred to the Head Office in Cyprus and undertook a range of HR and administrative duties. Before joining FOSS & ESG, Paula has worked for 5 years in the banking industry in Spain. Paula holds a degree in Economics and MSc in Human Resources.

Christian Freymuth

Senior Payroll Administrator

Christian is responsible for the payroll in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions as well as the IT systems of FOSS Europe and general management assistance. In 2008 Christian started his career in the company as a trainee and later became Team Leader of German office before assuming his current position in FOSS & ESG’s headquarters in Cyprus. During his time in Germany he successfully achieved the Bachelor Professional of Human Resources Management (CCI) degree.

Julia Nazarevskaya

Accounts Administrator

Julia is responsible for a wide range of account administrative activities to support company’s operations globally. Prior to joining FOSS & ESG in July 2019 she has worked in the Cypriot banking sector including a number of roles in the Hellenic Bank. Julia holds a BA Accounting and Finance from the University of West London, UK.
